I see you
Roses are red, violets are blue
2021 has been riddled and bestrewed
First came covid, then come delta,
Omicron visited not long afar,
Governing bodies changed like magic,
Do they realize the severity of this pandemic?
Contract doctors being ill-treated,
With prestigious degrees all felt defeated,
Malaysia holds 2019 ranking world’s best healthcare,
But this facade hides unscrupulous amounts of wear and tear;
Then the flood waters came destroying the landscape,
Innocent people were forced to escape,
Ordinary rakyat provided supportive arrangements,
While governing leaders were mere entertainments;
2021 has come to an end,
Let’s see what 2022 has to recommend.
