Kautsar Ismail has over 30 years of senior-level experience in the International Banking & Finance sector. In her current role as the Head of Finance & Administration, Kautsar oversees the organisation’s support functions including Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Office Operations. Before joining AFS Malaysia, Kautsar has worked in United Overseas Bank (UOB) as an Assistant Vice President of the Jalan Osman Petaling Jaya branch office. Her expertise and experience in handling high-profile customers in Malaysians and Malaysians abroad made Kautsar a valuable asset to the success of the branch.
Prior to her work at UOB, Kautsar was the Service Manager of the Standard Chartered Call centre. She dedicated 20 years to Standard Chartered, eventually rising up the ranks to oversee a Malaysia-Singapore cross-border call centre team. A graduate of Open University Malaysia, Kautsar has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (International Banking). She also posses the LCCI Diploma in Accounting from Systematic Business Centre in Malaysia.
An avid swimmer, Kautsar also enjoys travelling around Malaysia and overseas in her free time! She loves all things sports.
