Annie Yap from the National Office has retired after 25 years of service with Antarabudaya Malaysia.

Annie has worked in all departments throughout her career with Antarabudaya and retired as Head, Chapter & Volunteer Development.

Board members, staff, returnees and volunteers held farewell parties for Annie in appreciation of her service, guidance and friendship over the years. In one that was organised by YES returnee Yah Tyng, ex-National Office staff who once worked under Annie or were former colleagues turned up to fete her. In another that was organised in conjunction with an AFS Leaders Meet-Up, Annie was moved by video tributes from volunteers past and present and chapter and alumni representatives. She also received a Long Service Award certificate and a pearl friendship bracelet from staff.

With her departure, all People Development roles will now be managed by Kuhan Kandiah Chelvanathan.
