The second annual AFS Staff Learning Week (November 8-10, 2022) brought together nearly 550 AFS staff from 50 AFS organizations who participated in 59 different virtual sessions.

The topics related to providing excellent support to AFS program participants, engaging volunteers, improving the experience of our host families, and leadership in complex times. Through different sessions, AFS staff from around the world connected with each other to build a sense of community and had fun while learning. This week was an opportunity for team building, taking the time for our own development, showcasing best practices, and aligning our priorities.

No matter which AFS Partner you work for, we are all a part of the global AFS mission, and it was wonderful to spend time connecting, learning and sharing with one another.
