Program Description:
This is a government sponsored program intended for overseas high school students to be exposed to the Japanese high school life for a short period of time to gain understanding of Japan and Japanese culture through interchanging with peers of the same age. Some of the tutoring lessons about the Japanese language may be offered by the host schools and/or hosting chapter, but opportunities are limited and the focus is more on the experience than the structured language lessons. Therefore, basic Japanese learners with basic English are preferable. Please read the terms and condition of the application before applying any of AFS programmes.
