The 2024 Yayasan AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia Annual Report paints a picture of both significant achievements and persistent challenges in intercultural exchange. Despite a noticeable dip in participant numbers for both inbound and outbound programmes, our commitment to nurturing global citizenship and cultural understanding remained unwavering.
This report underscores our organization’s resilience and adaptability in a post-pandemic landscape. Strategic initiatives successfully reignited interest, leading to 62 Malaysians experiencing ten countries and 19 international participants enriching our communities from six nations. Key milestones include the launch of our Intercultural Learning (ICL) Workshop with the Ministry of Education and various volunteer development programmes. These successes are a direct testament to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, staff and stakeholders.
