AFS Malaysia is launching a public donation drive to allow students to become Active Global Citizens through AFS interactive virtual programs, in conjunction with the United Nations’s International Day of Living Together in Peace.⠀

The spirit behind the International Day of Living Together resonates with AFS’s mission statement that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skill and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.⠀

What for...

We have two new programs which grant students to meet with their peers globally without leaving their homes. They are the Global You Changemaker (GYC) for students between the ages of 15 and 17, and the Global You Adventurer (GYA) for students ages between 14 and 17. ⠀

Here is how your gift will impact the students

🌷 RM2,020 – Your student will be able to join the GYC program and receive an Advanced Certificate on Global Citizenship for Social Impact issued by AFS and the Center for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.⠀

🌷 RM1,300 – Your student will be able to join the GYA program and receive the Global Competence Certificate (GCC) from AFS.

🌷 Any amount donated is also welcome. Your donation will be pooled together with other contributors to make up the amount required for either one of the programs. However, if the amount collected is less than RM1300, your donation will go towards the YABM Scholarship to help subsidise future programs.
