The PEACE Programme stands for “Peace in Europe and Asia through Global Citizenship Education”. Peace was born in 2016 to connect Europe and Asia through a trimester secondary-school exchange focusing on Global and Active Citizenship Education. In 2018, the pilot period of the programme was carried out across the continents of Asia and Europe. After the trimester exchange, participants will meet in a final camp linked to global citizenship.
PEACE is run by the European Federation for Intercultural Learning – EFIL-, namely the Federation of AFS organisations in Europe together with AAI – the umbrella of AFS organisations in Asia.
The project is sponsored by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.
