YES for 'Kita Bagi, Kita Buka'

YES Alumni Malaysia in collaboration with Book For Change successfully organized and completed a community service project on 20th July 2014.

Donations collected over the past week including those from the "Kita Bagi Kita Buka" event on Saturday were given to seven Semai families and a kindergarten in Kampung Chenain, Tanjung Malim.

An assorted number of food, clothes, toys and 'Duit Raya' were given to the families equally while numerous learning essentials were distributed to the 12 kindergarten students in Tabika Kemas Kg. Chenain.

YES Alumni Malaysia together with Book for Change also helped repainted the kindergarten while adding some beautiful murals on the kindergarten.

YES alumni Malaysia wish to convey sincerest gratitude to the U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur, AFS Malaysia and many other private donors for supporting the project and the Orang Asli community in Kg. Chenain both morally and financially.
