AFS 50th Anniversary Cocktail Reception hosted by Australian High Commissioner, HE Penny Williams.

HE Penny Williams has been the Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia since April 2007. However, little known to others, she was also an AFS student. HE Penny spent one year from 1981-82 in Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, immersed in the Indonesian language and way of life. Her experience sparked an interest in Southeast Asia and she subsequently undertook a degree in Asian Studies at the Australian National University.

HE Penny Williams graciously offered her residence to host the 50th Anniversary Cocktail Reception.
