24/11/2009 - Volunteer Congress, End of Stay Camp, & Farewell Dinner
Beginning from 20th to 22nd November 2009, the Volunteer Congress has been held at the Royal Penang Hotel, Georgetown, Penang. Interactive sessions between the National Office and the Chapters took place and Volunteers from Damansara, Klang, Kinta, Kedah, Perlis, Kuantan, Johor, Seremban, Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu, Penang, and Kelantan Chapters submitted their ideas for changes to the National Office staff for the betterment of AFS.
AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia also proudly organized an End of Stay Camp for the YPSH09 and SMNH09 students who have stayed over here in Malaysia for one year.
The camp and dinner were held for the first time in Penang and the Farewell Dinner was organized by the Penang Chapter.The Director of Ministry of Education Penang, Tuan Haji Ibrahim bin Mohamad was the Guest of Honor of the event and Dr Yahya Mat Hassan, our Chairman, also attended the dinner.
