5/2/2009 - Bluescope Steel Scholar departs for Australia

AFS Malaysia sends its Bluescope Steel Scholarship candidate to Australia for the 4th consecutive year on the YPscSH09.

The lucky student, Ooi Zen Jie, left on 5th February and is hosted in the Yarra-Goulburn Region in Victoria.

Zen Jie is the oldest son of Mdm Cheong Pek Fong, Manager of Financial Projects, Bluescope Steel Asia office
in Malaysia. He was among the 2 shorlisted candidates for the scholarship.

We are proud that a Malaysian student has been a recipient of the prestigious scholarship since its inception.
