Attention all aspiring thespians and dance performers!
Yayasan Antarabudaya Malaysia is offering a 2 week Indian classical dance under the training of a renowned dancing school in India. The program includes Bharatnatyam- Theory and Practice, Karnatic Vocal Music – Theory and Practice, Indian Culture – An Introduction and Library reference work.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for Malaysian youth engaged in serious dancing to look beyond the ethnic wall in this country. Cultural immersion with a chance to experience the rich heritage and tradition of India by learning the Classic Indian Dance from the experts.
Students must be between the age of 16-18 years.
Program dates: 10th – 24th November 2009
Program fee : RM7,000 (Partial scholarships available to apply)
