Egypt will fascinate you with its exciting combination of ancient traditions, western music and films, Islam and Christianity, Middle Eastern art and folk cultures.

You’ll be assigned a “buddy” who will teach you about Egyptian culture and customs as well as help you with your Arabic. Get involved in the various cultural events and activities organised by your school and AFS – it’s a great way to make friends and truly immerse yourself.
