You will find plenty to explore in Argentina, from first-rate museums, galleries, theater and architecture to stunning natural wonders and a variety of landscape that you will not find anywhere else.
Year and Semester Program
The school year starts in March and runs through December with a two-week vacation in July. Your school will be one of the best places to make friends in Argentina and your classmates will quickly help you feel literature, geography, biology foreign languages (English,French,Portuguese, Italian and German),science,arts and math. When it comes to sports, soccer, volleyball and basketball are the most popular.
Upon arrival you will have an orientation and introduction to Buenos Aires along with other exchange students coming from 25 different countries. You will also have an opportunity during your stay to get together at various activties organized by AFS with with most of the nearly 400 students that AFS Argentina hosts every year. Quench your thirst for natural beauty with optional trips to the majestic Iguazu Falls, the glaciers or to the deserts of the Northwest.
