Who can apply?
All educators in the teaching line and officers attached to Ministry of Education.

What does the programme include?
The 2–week programme will include part home-stay and part hotel accommodation.  It consists of school visits, community pot lucks and meetings, sight-seeing, cultural visits, an interview with the media and of course, shopping!  There will be a chance to present and teach in some of the classes.

How much does it cost?
RM 8,000 including international travel and medical insurance.  You just need to prepare some pocket money for incidental expenses and shopping.

Why is the programme beneficial?
An exposure as such will enhance your teaching career.  The skills you pick up from the NZ counterparts can be implemented in your work, and vice versa.  Previous participants found it enriching and value-added as the fee covers your entire trip.

When do I have to apply?
Your application has to reach us by 15th April, 2012.  If you are successful in your application, you will need to inform your school and Ministry of Education of your intended trip.

How do I apply?
To apply download the Preliminary Application form, fill it out and send it to us.
